As part of their studies in the foundational carpentry program at the College of New Caledonia, students built a pair of wooden sheds, which they displayed and sold at an open house on May 31. The sale went to a lottery after several potential buyers came forward to snap up the $1,000 structures. Pictured in their workshop on Roumieu Drive (left to right) are Rosemarie Skin, Craig Skin, Crystal Bryshun, instructor Sep Shanks and Terence Austin. (David Gordon Koch photo)
