Students of Lakes District Secondary School have built 50 dog houses in Dirk Hofer鈥檚 class. The Lakes Animal Friendship Society will now provide these houses to low-income families without proper outdoor shelter for their dogs and cats. The project is funded by Fraser Lake Sawmills, a provincial gaming grant and contributions from private donors.
