This beautiful photo was sent in by Sheila Lovas, from Sandy鈥檚 RV and Camping Resort on Francois Lake.

While brilliantly coloured rainbows have been plentiful this past month a sunnier outlook is predicted for the local area up until Aug. 12. With high temperatures of above 16 predicted and just one day of light showers on Aug. 7, the weather looks to be improving.

This summer has had a cold and rainy start with temperatures hovering around the low teens, well below the July and August monthly average temperatures of 21.7 degrees Celsius.
