The Conservation Officer Service has received a complaint from the public regarding a chesterfield that was dumped on Shuldham Lake. It appears the individuals responsible used the couch for ice fishing but have since abandoned it on the lake ice. Currently the chesterfield is frozen into the ice and will sink into the lake when spring arrives. Conservation Officers would like to request that the individuals responsible remove the couch before it becomes submerged in the lake. The public is encouraged to assist in protecting our natural areas by providing information on this or any other environmental violation. Confidential information can be reported to the 24 hour Report All Poachers and Polluters hot line at 1-877-952-7277.
