Lakes District resident Joan Clancy will be missed. That is the sentiment local mothers at the Mother Goose program wanted to pass on to her last week by planning a surprise party.
Clancy and her husband are moving to Beaumont Alberta this week to be closer to their grandchildren. Over the years she has initiated many programs and services in the local area including the Words on Wheels bus, Itsy Bisty Yoga classes, the Mother Goose program and the infant development program.
