Toys for children, part of the Fill A Sleigh Day are packed inside police vehicles outside Red Apple in 亚洲天堂 Lake. 亚洲天堂 Lake residents shopped at Red Apple on Dec. 8 for Fill A Sleigh Day, when shoppers bought toys for children and 10 per cent of the sales go to local community charities. 鈥淎 lot of toys were donated and a lot of kids are going to get a really good Christmas,鈥� store manager Rebecca Palmer told Lakes District 亚洲天堂. The precise financial value of the donation to be given to charity was not yet known but Palmer estimates it could be around $4,000. 鈥淭he event went great. The community was amazing and there was a lot of support,鈥� she said. Local RCMP and fire department personnel helped out with the event. Fill A Sleigh Day was held at Red Apple shops across Canada.
