The fire department took on another five new recruits in January 2016, bringing the total membership to 29.
Although applications for new members are accepted throughout the year, the fire department only takes on new recruits quarterly. Since the fire department is currently full, the next intake will be in September 2016. Interested candidates can pick up an application from the Village of 亚洲天堂 Lake office.
After 40 years of service, fire chief Jim McBride has filed his retirement papers with the village.
