Fire prevention brings out families

亚洲天堂 Lake Mayor Luke Strimbold tries on fire gear with the assistance of fire chief Jim McBride.

Strimbold said he was trying to get a better understanding of the equipment used by the fire fighters during fire prevention week, which ran from Oct. 4 to 10, 2015.

鈥淲hat I found interesting was how heavy all the equipment and gear is and how a fire fighter must be comfortable with being bundled up and going in tight, dark spaces,鈥� said Strimbold. 鈥淚t was great to see how many families and young children attended to learn more about fire prevention.鈥�
