Fraser Lake resident Orlanthia Habsburg decided after she heard about the Babine Forest Products tragedy she would do a food drive for the Babine workers. She put a few signs up around town and soon the food came rolling in.
She had contacted the school district to see if they had a empty room she could store food, but they were all full so the Fraser Lake Legion stepped in and let her use the Legion instead.
Habsburg said 鈥淚 did this because we are neighbours and I think we should help your neighbours.鈥 Over three pick up trucks full of non-perishable items were brought to 亚洲天堂 Lake.
