Long time local resident Bill Gilgan celebrated his 95 birthday with friends and family at the Pines last weekend.
Gilgan has lived in the local area for 94 years, moving to the area at just one year old. He grew up at Tchesinkut Lake.
Gilgan was also one of the first people to graduate from the Lakes District Secondary School.
He was mayor of the Village of 亚洲天堂 Lake for 23 years, and has eight children.
