亚洲天堂 Lake resident Wren Gilgan captured this beautiful photo of a merlin, formally known as pigeon hawk.
The merlin was previously known in North America as the pigeon hawk because it looks and flies like a pigeon. 鈥淭his magnificent raptor shrieked overhead as I walked to the mailbox,鈥� described Gilgan. 鈥淔ortunately for me it perched for a moment on an old snag.鈥�
