Models for the art exhibition that took place at the Lakeview Mall recently pose with their portraits.
Long-time Lakes District artist Gerda Volz gathered together a group of local artists - Lorna Hannett, Lynne Martens and Barb Clarkson - to do the portraits of Lakes District mothers and grandmothers.
Hannett has played cards with these women every week for 10 years, and several of them have been playing together for 25-30 years. 鈥淚 wanted to honour them as pioneers of this area and the wonderful women that they are,鈥� said Hannett.
