Tamara Janzen, who runs the Movin’ on up program in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake, has received $2500 from the ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake and District Community Foundation.
Movin’ on up is an after school program for 24 children from five to 12 years old. The money will be used to install a perimeter fence around the Muriel Mould Neighbourhood Learning Centre, where the program takes place. Janzen said the fence will make children safer.
