Local Amy Avdeeff, a recent graduate of Lakes District Secondary School was awarded a scholarship from the Alberta Augustana Campus for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Avdeeff is a first year Bachelor of Science student at the University of Alberta.
She was awarded a total of $1,500 for non-Alberta residency and honours, funded by an Augustana non-Alberta Incentive Entrance Award, an Augustana Faculty Honours Entrance Scholarship and The Groves' Value Drug Mart Award.
