Grassy Plains School students and staff responded to the recent Babine Forest Products sawmill tragedy by holding a ski-athon and a penny drive.
The little school of 85 students raised a total of $2,462.30. The ski-athon was held at the school鈥檚 ski trails on Jan. 27, 2012 and students raised $1027.64 in pledges. The penny drive raised $1,434.66.
