Southside residents enjoyed Family Day with a variety of activities for the whole family at the Southside winter carnival, which was held at the Takysie Lake Resort. Kids painted snow, played hockey, curling and volleyball, and participated in snowshoe races. Some kids ran into each other, and at the turnaround point, a marker got knocked over as kids raced each other to the finish line. 鈥淭he food was delicious, the sun was shining, it was an awesome day,鈥� said Isaac Zayac, Southside 4-H Club member.
