St. Luke鈥檚 Church on the Lake has recently celebrated its 100 year anniversary.
Approximately 50 people attended the celebration, which included a picnic, tours of the cemetery and church, and a narration of the church鈥檚 history. 鈥淚t was a great celebration and coming together of our community to celebrate the old heritage building and also celebrate the work recently done,鈥� said Donna Fowler, member of the St. Luke鈥檚 Heritage Society.
The church recently received a major facelift, having its windows and door restored, and receiving a new roof and foundation.
