The Travelling Mabels in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake
The third performance in the Lakes District Arts Council (LDAC) performing arts season takes place at 7 p.m. on Nov. 6 at Lakes District Secondary School. The Travelling Mabels is a folk and country female trio full of spirit, spunk and laughter. Collectively, their songs bring a wealth of life experience to the stage. Singularly, each woman stands alone vocally, but once you hear the combined harmony blend, you will know why these three women came together.
The Travelling Mabels’ musical influences range from Dolly Parton to The Eagles, and from Bob Dylan to Cheryl Crow. And their comedic, heart-felt take on life meets a wide range of audience expectations wherever they perform.
The guest artist at the Travelling Mabels’ performance will be Hilda Earl, with baking supplied by Lena Nazaruk.
Individual tickets for the Travelling Mabels are now on sale at LDFC Printing and Stationery and at Lakes Artisan Centre. Look for LDAC’s ads in the Lakes District ÑÇÖÞÌìÌÃ, and for posters around town.
