Local residents enjoyed an evening of live entertainment with talented local performers last week. The first 鈥榦pen mic coffee house鈥� of 2017 took place on Jan. 6 at the Heritage Room. The event, which takes place on the first Friday of each month, has been building steadily since last October. All profits go to the Lakes Animal Friendship Society.
