The Wardens perform at the LDSS MPR

The third performance in the Arts Council’s eleventh season takes place on Friday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lakes District Secondary School's multipurpose room.

The Alberta-based trio The Wardens will sing and play - and present a slide show of their photographs of the Canadian Rockies.

The Wardens are Scott Ward, Bradley Bischoff and Ray Schmidt, a Banff National Park-based trio whose stories rise from the land they’ve protected for the past thirty years. Their music connects with anyone who has a love of landscape and the outdoors.

The Wardens perform mountain music: the superb musicianship of lead guitar, rhythm guitar and bass, and haunting three-part vocal harmonies.

Rich on-screen images add to their spine-tingling delivery. They blend folk, roots and western styles: a piece of Canadiana reflecting the pristine wilderness of the Rockies. We welcome you to sit back and enjoy the music - and stunning photographic images of Canada’s Rocky Mountain national parks.

Look for LDAC’s ads in the Lakes District ÑÇÖÞÌìÌÃ, and posters around town. Tickets are now at sale at Process 4 circle arts Gallery, Lakes District Printing and Stationery and the Lakes Artisan Centre. Tickets will also be available at the door - but if you are thinking about attending this show, don’t delay. We expect this one to be a Hot Ticket!
