More than 150 people turned up at Lakes District Secondary School for a Healing Our Heats ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake benefit concert organized by the Nedut'en Heritage Group and Murphy Patrick last weekend.
This benefit concert was held to bring the community together in a positive atmosphere, one month after the devastation of Babine Forest Products.
Musicians, Derek Miller and Murray Porter as well as local Joel West, Stacy Reynolds, the Bear Lake Singers and the Lake Babine Nation choir performed. Lieutenant Governor Stephen Point also arrived in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake to participate.
