Rawk Camp 2014 took place last week in Grassy Plains and ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake.
Approximately 40 youngsters played guitar, drums and keyboards, and presented rock shows at the Grassy Plains Hall and Beacon Theatre.
The School of Rawk is taught by Graeme Peters, Jodi Peters and Ian March, members of the band, Speed Control, from Whitehorse.
The Lakes District Arts Council was able to present the camps on the Southside and in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake with the support of Village of ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake, the Regional District of Bulkley Nechako and the Lakes District business community.
Rawk Camp 2014 was made possible by grants from ComFor Management Services Ltd., the ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake and District Community Foundation and the BC Arts Council.
