Paula Abdul has cancelled her upcoming Canadian concerts for 2024.

In an Instagram post dated Sept. 5, Abdul said the decision was made as a result of recent injuries she had sustained.

鈥淎fter multiple consultations with my doctors and exploring all available options, I鈥檝e been advised that one of my injuries requires a minor procedure followed by a six- to eight-week recovery time, therefore it will prohibit me from proceeding with the Straight Up! To Canada Tour as well as the dates in Alaska and North Dakota,鈥� she posted.

In June, Abdul announced she would be performing multiple B.C. dates starting Sept. 25 in Victoria as part of her Canada-wide tour. Other concerts in B.C. included Abbotsford, Penticton, Kamloops, Dawson Creek and Prince George.

Refunds for those with concert tickets will be available at point of purchase.
