Summer festival at Grassy Plains

Great music and fantastic weather were the perfect combination for this year鈥檚 Grassy Plains Summer Festival.

Great music and fantastic weather were the perfect combination for this year鈥檚 Grassy Plains Summer Festival, which was held on July 16-17.

Performers included Rick Scott, The Great Plains, Frontal Lobotomy, Raine Hamilton, Folky Strum Strum, Saltwater Hank and Jaded.

The event also included fiddle and banjo workshops hosted by Raine Hamilton and Jeremy Pahl, entertainment for children - games and face painting -, and a Friday night dance. Mike Robertson took these great photos and said the festival couldn鈥檛 have been better. 鈥淏eautiful weather, wonderful venue and fantastic sound combined to make this one of the best ever.鈥�
