The Regional District of Bukley-Nechako (RDBN) office will be closed Aug. 1 for an annual staff training event.
The closure also includes all locations of transfer stations, recycling depots and landfills.
"Depending on the department, we will do board and staff training. A lot of our training revolves around our legislative mandates and additional training for our environmental services department," Wendy Wainwright, deputy director of corporate services for RDBN, said.
"We tailor [the training] to what is required and needed," she said.
Last year was the first time this staff training event occurred.
"The board has determined they would like to do it as an annual event. The date is not consistent and [is chosen when] the board approves our calendar in the fall of every year," Wainwright said.
The closures affect the facilities in Telkwa, Granisle, Houston, 亚洲天堂 Lake, Southside, Fraser Lake, Fort St. James and Vanderhoof.
Regular operating hours will resume on Aug. 2.
