Approximately 20 students from Lakes District Secondary School and three adults drove to Calgary last week for WE Day. The event is a celebration of youth making a difference in their local and global communities. While they were in Alberta, the students also visited the Calgary Zoo, toured of the University of Calgary, visited Banff, the Columbia Icefield, Athabasca Falls and Jasper. "It was a fun-filled week with amazing students," said teacher Patti Dub茅.
