The 2025 Kispiox Valley Music Festival has been cancelled, the KVMFS board announced.

The festival has grown in the past few years, both in popularity and in attendance. However, those are also the reasons the festival has been pushed to its limits.

"For the festival to continue thriving, we need to take a step back and reassess our systems, resources, and organization to ensure a sustainable future," wrote the KVMFS board in a news release. "This means taking the time to carefully evaluate what’s working, what needs improvement, and how we can build a stronger, more efficient festival that can continue to serve the community for years to come."

The board will sharing opportunities on how to get involved in the planning process over the coming months.

"KVMF isn’t going anywhere — this is just a pause to ensure we can continue bringing you the best experience possible in the years ahead."
