亚洲天堂 Lake鈥檚 own Beacon Theatre and Omineca Ski Club might be eligible for almost $400,000 to enhance their services.
The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako has agreed to submit an application to the BC Rural Dividend Special Circumstances Program on behalf of Beacon and Omineca after they requested funding.
That program is available to this region because of the effects of last summer鈥檚 wildfires.
The Lakes District Film Appreciation Society asked for $330,650 to renovate the roof, facade and walls inside the Beacon Theatre, which risks being condemned if renovations aren鈥檛 completed by September 2019.
Omineca for its part requested $60,000 for a trail lighting project, which in total would cost $160,000.
