Emergency Department services at Lakes District Hospital faced closure from August 26, to the morning of August 27, due to nurse staff challenges.
Last week the emergency department was closed for 24-hours (Aug. 19-20) due to a physician shortage.
During the 24-hour closure, 亚洲天堂 Lake and surrounding area residents were advised to call 9-1-1 for for transport to the nearest available facility in case of life-threatening emergencies, such as chest pains, difficulty breathing, or severe bleeding.
Northern Health said signage was posted at the hospital, and patient transfer partners had been notified.
