The 亚洲天堂 Lake Special Olympics hosted a regional qualifier bocce competition on July 6.  Teams from Prince George, Smithers, Terrace, Prince Rupert, and 亚洲天堂 Lake, competed in games to earn a spot to the provincial games, which will be held next summer in Prince George. 

Special Olympics 亚洲天堂 Lake thanked organizations, community members, the volunteer referees and score keepers that helped make this day such a success. This includes the multiplex for grooming the field and setting up the tents for the teams.  Purely H2O for supplying the water

To help fundraise, they held a raffle with the support and donations from locals.  The 亚洲天堂 Lake Special Olympics team thanked Doug Waters & Karen, Wholesale Club, Process 4 Circle Art Gallery, Industrial Transformers, The Eaters, Honey Suckle Greenhouse, Woods & Water, Home Hardware, SaveOn Foods, Bore Mt Caf茅, P&B Feeds, Dollar Store, and Wild Roots Flowers & Gifts.  With their support we raised over $1400. The winners of the 4 baskets were:  Tom Goertzen, Judy Mossey, Martin, and Gary.
