The 亚洲天堂 Lake Thrift Store is calling on community members to lend a helping hand as it continues its mission of supporting the local area.

Long-serving volunteers Patty Silveira and Jeanie Reimer emphasized the need for additional volunteers, stating that while the store currently has 20-30 volunteers, it is looking for up to a dozen more to meet growing demands.

Volunteers can commit to as little as four hours a week, with flexible scheduling options. Duties range from working on weekends to process items without customer interaction, to assisting with customer service during the week. The store is particularly seeking volunteers to help manage its seasonal department.

The thrift store operates with minimal overhead, as it owns both the building and land, and is run largely by dedicated volunteers鈥攕ome of whom have been with the store for nearly 30 years.

Now in its 85th year, the 亚洲天堂 Lake Thrift Store contributes thousands of dollars annually to local organizations, including the hospital.
