亚洲天堂 Lake Fire Rescue (BLFR) responded to a residential structure fire in the 300 block of Hill Street on July 24, at approximately 1:18 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews found a single-family home fully engulfed in flames and smoke, said Fire Chief Rob Krause.
Firefighters quickly confirmed that all occupants were safely outside and focused on preventing the fire from spreading to neighbouring homes.
Despite efforts to extinguish the blaze, which had spread to the attic, firefighters encountered challenges in bringing it under control. The suppression operation continued until 4 p.m., with a fire watch crew remaining on-site until 7:30 p.m. to monitor and extinguish any remaining hot spots.
Fifteen firefighters and three apparatuses were deployed to the scene to battle the fire.
Krause said there were no injuries reported among the public or fire crews.
Emergency Support Services provided temporary accommodations to two residents displaced by the fire.
While investigations are ongoing, initial findings suggest the fire was accidental, likely stemming from construction activities conducted by the homeowner, Krause said.
