Decker Lake Elementary School (DLES) along with other schools in the area held their science fairs recently. On Feb. 16. students at DLES created projects like the one Brinely Abetkoff did trying to determine what hand sanitizer was the best. One young student made a car powered by a balloon and another made a vending machines without electricity. The projects were based theory and the students performed and researched their experiment to come up with a hypothesise and a conclusion. They started working on these projects to get into the regional science exhibition to be held later this year in Prince George. They all did an amazing job.
