The final list of candidates for the Ts鈥檌l Kaz Koh 亚洲天堂 Lake Band election has been announced. Voters will choose one chief and two councillors on on November 7.
Three candidates are competing for the chief position: incumbent Wesley Sam, Clayton Charlie, and Amber George. For the two councillor seats, seven candidates are in the running, including current councillors Ellen Lorentz and Cecelia Sam, as well as Greg Favelle, Sarah Green, Blake Edward Nobles, Sara Tibbett, and Kiana Wiebe.
The election will be held at the Gathering Place in 亚洲天堂 Lake (675 Hwy 16 W) from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be no advance polling for this election. Voters wishing to cast their ballots by mail can request a mail-in ballot by submitting a form to the Electoral Officer, along with a copy of their ID, before November 1.
