Babine Elementary Secondary School, Granisle District office and Canada Post were placed on lockdown out of an abundance of caution on Jan. 29 after threats were made close by.
Houston RCMP were advised of possible threats made to the Granisle Health Clinic and staff, and immediately placed the surrounding school and buildings on lockdown as a precaution.
Corporal Madonna Saunderson confirmed that at no time were there any threats directed to the school, office or post office, and explained what transpired inside the clinic.
"One person was located inside the health clinic and was apprehended without incident," she stated. "It is believed that medical issues may have been a casual factor and no further information will be released."
The investigation remains ongoing.
