New chief sworn in for Lake Babine Nation

On June 25 at 5 p.m. a swearing in ceremony took place at the Margret Patrick Memorial Hall. Wilf Adam was sworn in as the new chief for Lake Babine Nation.

On June 25 at 5 p.m. a swearing in ceremony took place at the Margret Patrick Memorial Hall. Wilf Adam was sworn in as the new chief for Lake Babine Nation. Along with a new chief the following council was also sworn in: Bessie West 鈥� Deputy Chief, Melvin Joseph 鈥� Woyenne council, Debbie West 鈥� Woyenne council, Jason Charlie 鈥� Woyenne council, Fabian Michell 鈥� Woyenne council, Erin Alec  鈥� Old Fort council, Mildred George 鈥� Tachet council, Dolores Alec 鈥� Tachet council, Lyle Michel 鈥� Fort Babine council.
