The man wanted by police in northwestern B.C. following a report of an aggravated assault Aug. 31, 2024 in Thornhill just east of Terrace has been arrested.
The arrest of Nathan Rinsma took place this morning, Sept. 3, 2024, in Usk, a small community also located east of Terrace along Hwy16.
The arrest was made by Terrace RCMP officers.
Police have been looking for Rinsma since receiving the report of the assault.
A woman was seriously injured, police said.
Rinsma was described as armed and dangerous and police said he should not be approached.
Charge recommendations are now before Crown counsel attorneys for their consideration and approval.
Multiple police officers were at a mobile home park in Thornhill Aug. 31 in response to the reported assault.
Those present included the RCMP's northern emergency response team from Prince George.
