PHOTO: Chinook Community Forest holds open house at Rose Lake

The Chinook Community Forest held an open house at Rose Lake on Friday, March 7, to update the community on wildfire mitigation and archaeological finds collected from some areas within the planned activities.  In addition to harvesting information, recent archaeological information collected from several areas within Chinook鈥檚 tenure was available for review.  Artifacts found included obsidian, chert, rhyolite and basalt tools.
