Emergency Department services at Lakes District Hospital faced closure from August 19, to the morning of August 20, due to a shortage of physician coverage.
During the 24-hour closure, 亚洲天堂 Lake and surrounding area residents were advised to call 9-1-1 for for transport to the nearest available facility in case of life-threatening emergencies, such as chest pains, difficulty breathing, or severe bleeding.
Northern Health said signage was posted at the hospital, and patient transfer partners had been notified.
Emergency Department service resumed at the hospital at 8 a.m. on Aug. 20.
