The sentencing hearing for the 亚洲天堂 Lake man who pleaded guilty to sexual assault in November 2021 resumed on October 21, 2024. However, the matter has been adjourned again to October 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. in courtroom 159.
The upcoming session will focus on establishing a date for the court to deliver its sentencing decision.
This hearing follows several delays; initially set for September 27, it was postponed due to insufficient court time. Prior to that, attempts to schedule a sentencing date on June 3 were pushed back from May 6 due to incomplete pre-sentencing reports.
Earlier in the year, a request for a psychological/psychiatric evaluation further delayed proceedings after a court session on February 20.
