UPDATE: The RCMP confirmed earlier this morning (May 29) that 39-year-old, Amber Doxtator, who was reported missing, has been located and is safe and sound. The RCMP thanked the media and public for their assistance.

The Vanderhoof RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating missing person Amber Doxtator, who was last seen on Friday, May 24.
Doxtator’s family reported her missing to the police on, May 27, the RCMP said in a May 28 statement.
The police described Doxtator as a 39-year-old Caucasian female, 5 feet 7 inches and weighing approximately 124 lbs. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
Amber Doxtator was last seen leaving her residence in Vanderhoof, driving a 2003 Blue Dodge Caravan with the B.C. license plate TV963B.
The police also suggested that she may have travelled to Fort St. James and could be with friends there, although this information remains unconfirmed.
The RCMP is asking anyone with information about Doxtator, or where she might be, to contact the Vanderhoof detachment at (250) 567-2222.
