The Kitkatla Warriors (white) try to chase down the Burnaby Chiefs in the Senior Men's semi-final at the 2025 All Native Basketball Tournament on Feb. 14.

Day 7 (Feb. 14) of the 2025 All Native Basketball Tournament saw the championship games matchups decided in all five divisions.

In the newly minted Women's Masters Division, the Kaien Island Sirens (Prince Rupert) had already punched their ticket to the final with a lopsided 69-15 win over Gitwinksihlkw.

That left a matchup for Gitwinksilkw in the loser's bracket semi-final with Hazelton in which the Gitxsan squad also proved too much for Gitwinksilkw prevailing 67-48 to set up the first final of the 65th tourney with the Sirens at 11 a.m. today (Feb. 15).

The second final will be played at 12:30 p.m. between Vancouver All My Relations and the defending champion Similkameen Starbirds in the Women's Division.

The Starbirds were dominant in their run to the championship game easily sweeping through the winner's bracket. Vancouver, on the other hand got knocked down to the loser's side early on by Similkameen and had to go through Prince Rupert, Greenville and Hazelton to set the date with the Starbirds for the title.

The Masters Division will see a repeat of last year's final with the Prince Rupert Trojans tipping off against Hydaburg, AK. Hydaburg lived up to expectations after dominating the division in 2024.

Prince Rupert's only loss was to the Alaskans and they'll be gunning for the American team when they hit the court at 2 p.m.

As in the Women's and Masters divisions, the defending champions in the Intermediate division will have a chance to repeat as Metlakatla, AK comes up against Bella Bella.

Unlike the Metlakatlans, Bella Bella had a long road to the final having to navigate Bella Coola, Prince Rupert, Lax Kw'alaams and Skidegate to punch their ticket.

That game goes at 6:30.

The Senior Men's division will also feature a repeat of the 2024 final with the defending champion Burnaby Chiefs going head-to-head with perennial favourites the Skidegate Saints.

Skidegate breezed through the winners' bracket including a comfortable victory over Burnaby 81-72. The Chiefs can never be counted out though as they proved in the semi-final against Kitkatla. Down by almost 20 points at one point in the first quarter, the Chiefs roared back to win by close to 30.

The Saints and Chiefs tip off at 8 p.m.

All the championship games will be played in the Russell Gamble Gymnasium at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre in Prince Rupert, Feb. 15.
