The Northwest Fire Centre reported a wildfire northeast of Kager Lake on Boer Mountain Road on Wednesday, May 22 at approximately 2:30 p.m., PST. The BC Wildfire Service is reporting that the fire is approximately 0.3 hectares as of their last update.
Kaitlyn Bailey, and information officer at the Northwest Fire Centre said an initial attack crew of four firefighters are on the scene to contain the fire with the help of the 亚洲天堂 Lake Fire Department. Bailey said the crew reports a high hope of success and there is no threat to 亚洲天堂 Lake or surrounding communities at this time.
