Lakes District 亚洲天堂 mascot 鈥樠侵尢焯脃鈥� proved to be a very popular addition to the 2011 Christmas parade and Christmas Light Up held last Friday evening.
Crowds of locals lined the streets for the parade, which was well organized by Sandy Dore manager of the Bulkley Valley Credit Union Lakes District branch and Laura Blackwell, publisher of the Lakes District 亚洲天堂.
Locals then gathered across from Pioneer Park for a free cup of warm hot chocolate and hot dogs which were donated by Hampton Affiliates. Christmas carols were sung by the Lakes District Community Choir. Even Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special stop in 亚洲天堂 Lake for the event. For more photos go to www.ldnews.net.
