In 2017, council undertook three community engagement sessions at the farmer鈥檚 market, Lakes District Fall Fair and the Lakes District Christmas Craft Fair. During these events, members of the public were encouraged to fill out surveys about village priorities. The majority of respondents (45 per cent) chose infrastructure - water, sewer and street repair - as their number one priority, followed by economic development (40 per cent).
