At approximately 11 p.m. on Feb. 6, 2012, the received a report of a snowmobiler operating erratically on Center Street.

Officers from the detachment, as well as the 亚洲天堂 Lake Traffic Services department immediately responded to the location of Center Street and Second Avenue, where the snowmobiler was reported to be.

Police located a man attempting to free his stuck snowmobile, which was jammed into  a snow bank.

He was arrested at the scene for impaired driving.

Police are recommending one charge of impaired operation, one charge of driving while over .08 and one charge of refusing to provide a breath sample pursuant to the Criminal Code.

The 43 year old 亚洲天堂 Lake resident was released on a court document to appear in Provincial Court in 亚洲天堂 Lake during April 2012.

亚洲天堂 Lake RCMP wish to highlight this investigation as an example of how an alert citizen reporting a crime quickly helped the police remove a criminal off the street.

The RCMP's goal is safety for everyone in the community and community members can play a key role in making that happen. The 亚洲天堂 Lake RCMP are asking to public to report any crime to them,  at any time.
