鈥淐hallenged? Yes. Disabled? No.鈥 That鈥檚 how Michael Bortolotto, a motivational speaker who lives with cerebral palsy, described himself to an audience at Lakes District Secondary School last week. Bortolotto spoke about the importance of 鈥渞ebelling against鈥 negative thoughts. 鈥淲e have to be accountable for our own thinking,鈥 he said. 鈥淣egative thoughts create excuses and limitations.鈥 For the past 20 years, Bortolotto has inspired thousands of people in both Canada and the U.S. with his can do attitude.
