The Village of 亚洲天堂 Lake hosted an open house and workshop at the Heritage Centre last week to find out what makes 亚洲天堂 Lake special.

Facilitated by Life Work Communications, local residents were asked questions such as 鈥渨hat are some of the hidden gems you discovered after moving here鈥� and 鈥渉ow has your business or family had more opportunities because of the size of the community?鈥�

During the open house on Oct. 18, residents were able to write down these answers on posters placed on the walls. A workshop format was used the following morning, encouraging residents to brainstorm ideas to attract residents, investors and visitors to the area.

This information will be used by the municipality for its , which held its first meeting on Monday.

鈥淭his input will be most valuable in assisting us to craft an attraction strategy for the community,鈥� said Val Anderson, 亚洲天堂 Lake鈥檚 economic development officer.

The village has secured over $125,000 from grants and its own funds to develop this project.
