The 鈥淢ove to Cure ALS鈥� walks happen across BC in June and although 亚洲天堂 Lake isn鈥檛 an official site, 亚洲天堂 Lake resident Ronda Payne is holding a fundraiser for the cause to show her support for her friend, Barb Wilson. For the third year in a row Payne will be raffling off a beautiful quilt named 鈥淲hen you Wish Upon a Star鈥� made by the talented and generous Jenny Pirie. Tickets are $5 each, and all money raised will go the ALS Society of BC - which helps everyone in the province living with this devastating disease. Also anyone interested in coming down to the LDSS track on June 10, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and walking a few laps in support of the cause. The draw for the quilt will be done at noon.
