Highway 16 is reduced to one lane, two kilometres East of Topley due to a large sink hole.
Delays of up to 30 minutes are expected, as traffic is being guided through the area with a pilot vehicle.
Preparations are underway for repairs to the road however emergency crews have not been able to estimate when Highway 16 may fully reopen.
